RUST Esports — Cybersport Rust Mode

Q: How do I start playing Cybersport Rust right now?

Connect to the server through the F1 console with connect play.kzvrust.com, or press PLAY, find the CYBERSPORTRUST server, and join it.

Victory is achieved by destroying the enemy beds. After the beds are destroyed, players have their final life. When the entire team is eliminated, the match ends.

Yes. A win gives 20 rating points, and a loss removes 20. You can view your rating in-game and on the website.

CYBERSPORT RUST is a unique competitive RUST mode where two teams of 5 players fight to destroy each other using every mechanic the game has to offer. A match lasts 30–60 minutes, giving you the full RUST experience in one intense session.

Step 1

Choose CYBERSPORT mode on the website

Open the Cybersport mode on the website, create a party with teammates or start solo, then press PLAY. When an opponent is found, accept the match and get ready for battle!

Choose a battlefield map

Cybersport Rust has 5 maps based on popular RUST biomes. Choose one battlefield and use the biome features to win!

Step 3

Place a bed

Make sure to place a bed on an upgraded foundation so you can respawn during the match. Respawns are unlimited, but every new death increases the respawn timer by 5 seconds. A bed can only be destroyed with a rock by breaking the foundation under it, or by getting cupboard access and picking it up with a hammer.

Step 4

Start the quarries and turrets

Collect diesel fuel near the quarry, place it into the blue barrels, and start the engine from above. Nearby you will see a button to call an AirDrop. When the quarry starts, 3 turrets activate around it to protect the sulfur production and your team.

Step 5

Destroy the enemy

Use every RUST mechanic to defeat the enemy and destroy their beds in CYBERSPORT RUST. Ground, air, and underwater battles are at your disposal, but do not forget to farm and build your fortress to protect your own beds. When all beds are destroyed, the team is left with one final life and loses the match if eliminated.

Any player with Premium status can create a private game lobby. The lobby owner can invite players to the match and choose one of five maps.

Will there be tournaments?

Yes. Tournaments are the engine of RUST esports. The first major tournament for 100,000 RUB has already been held with 40 streamers, YouTubers, and hundreds of participants. Larger tournaments are planned, and when registration opens, anyone will be able to sign up at https://kzvrust.com/#registration.
